- The fest called vest is most popular here and it's mainly for freshers and it is celebrated every year and another famous fest is vbazzar which is the most remarkable one in our college.
- Completing the 5th sem campus will be giving placement opportunities, based cgpa percentage placement will be done.
- The scholarships are something that can be improved a lot in the following years.
Dislikes
- The office staffs were always rude towards students 90 percent of the time.They act like we study for free and their response for our question is very bad everytime.its one of the worst i have ever seen
- The canteen is not reliable because sometimes they serve rotten vegetables
- The things is dislike about the clg is factualies are not allowed to hit aby students byt heremany faculty are being rough and harsh toward students and they have to be good by their language they are not being good soo we are getting troubles them

Overall: A well maintained institute with essential needs and good team of faculties who could guide you the right path if you admit your ward here you need not worry about their future Placement: All' the big 4 companies available in all departments you can make use of it so that you can come out with a job guaranteed in your hand you need not go in search of a job Infrastructure: Very tidy environment all updated facilities available you need not go out in search of updates in your department they are available here itself you can make use of it Faculty: They are strict at times needed and a very good guide form a nice career they take initiative to educate yourself and perform well in your academic and build your confidence level high Hostel: Iam a days collar sp I don't have experience of hostel facility in my college the only thing I can say is it is a strictly vegetarian campus where good rules are followed

Read Full ReviewI took this course, and I like this course but in course we not getting any placement at all students need placements for this course then we do not get time to write our exams the questions they give have a big ans but we dont get enough time to complete thats the reason we are getting fail and we are not getting air in our class they are not even considering. as students in our class complained about it to the department they did not take any action this made us very dizzy in our classrooms they need to take actions towards it is

Read Full ReviewMy dream is to become a Journalist so i researched my course at Dg vaishnav college, and i got to know about many thing in my course curriculum. It was so good not only studies they're providing field work and internships so I decided to join BA Journalism at Dg vaishnav college. Now im studying 2nd year, in this two years i learnt a lot about Journalism. The improvements in this course is to make students intractable, otherwise it is so good. There is no difficulty in exam timings, we're feel free to write our exams.
I applied 2 more other colleges like Loyala and WCC but in Allover college in Chennai, the fee structure is too low for my course in Dg Vaishnav college. From Dg Vaishnav college I got confirmed admission. I chose this college because it is most reputed college of all Arts and science colleges. The admission process went through counseling by cut-off marks.

Very tough. Since I'm forward caste my percentage has to be really high. But since I was from a science background I got through the admission process by management quota seeking help from a government official.

The dress code at DG Vaishnav College is formal.
For Boys, T-shirts and jeans are not allowed. For Girls, salwar or saree or any traditional attire is allowed, leggings and jeans are not allowed.
This is the official dress code. But students tend to wear casual jeans sometimes but not T-shirts or leggings. The students are told to dress in simple clothing and nothing too fancy.
Like any other college, DG Vaishnav College also has some pros and cons. Let me mention these, which will help you make an informed decision.
Pros:
- The infrastructure is really good with classrooms having proper light and ventilation.
- There are individual lockers, a smartboard TV, clean restrooms, sick rooms, etc.
- The MBA department has a dedicated library and computer lab with a good internet connection.
- Outbound Training is conducted for 1st year MBA students to places like Yelagiri, Yercaud, Mahabalipuram, etc. for 3 or 4 days.
- Industrial visits, guest lectures, foreign educational tours are also conducted.
- You will receive invitations from many inter-college events.
- Placements are good and provide enough exposure.
Cons:
- The students are mostly freshers. 5-10 students have quality work experience.
- Faculties are not dependable. You have to self-study.
- Too much focus is put on extracurricular activities.
- They conduct 4 major events in one academic year. Due to this, classes are usually canceled.
- Almost school-like discipline.
- The library is accessible only during exams.
- Most of the recruiters will be from the BFSI sector and they recruit mostly for marketing and sales positions.
As it is located in central Chennai, it is well connected by buses. The nearest metro is Anna Nagar East. The fees are average compared to other top MBA colleges in Chennai. Some short-term certificate courses like Tally, Excel, etc. are also conducted.
From one of my friend’s experiences, I can say that you will have a seminar in an auditorium after which you are allowed to go home, as from the following day your regular classes will start.
On the first day seniors will guide you to join societies or clubs where your interests lie.
It is suggested that you go to college early on the first day and ask every representative of the clubs about them and then decide which to take part in.
Joining clubs will also help make more connections and give you enough exposure.
On the opening day generally the principal meets all the students in a group, gathering in the college and familiarizes them with the rules and regulations, and gives instructions. You will be allocated to your classes and will get to meet the HoD of every department.
