- The Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies (Specialization in International Northern Development) is part of a collaborative, interdisciplinary, joint master’s degree program between the University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) and Nord University (Nord) in Bodo, Norway.
- Students enrolled in this degree program will examine the issues, opportunities, and challenges associated with northern development in the circumpolar world, with a particular focus on northern Canada and northern Norway. This degree program will prepare graduates for further study at the doctoral level or for work in government, the non-governmental sector, and the private sector, with agencies and organizations that are actively engaged in the political, economic and social development and governance of northern regions.
