  • McGill MScPH students come from a variety of academic backgrounds including the basic sciences, health sciences, engineering as well as social sciences, such as sociology and economics
  • This program train population and public health researchers, educators and practitioners who excel and lead in their chosen career path.
  • Students may choose from among five streams of study, including: Epidemiology, Global Health, Health Policy & Ethics, Infectious Disease and Population Dynamics.
  • McGill’s MScPH students are required to complete a practicum in the summer following their first year of studies (May-August).
  • You will contribute to an organization's mandate, and address a public health problem of interest to you.
  • You will also develop skills as public health practitioner or researcher.
  • Practicums are available provincially, nationally, and internationally.
