This program is specifically designed for students interested in assisting individuals in recuperating from physical or mental illness that encourages rehabilitation through the performance of activities required in daily life. The pre-occupational therapy concentration includes prerequisites for occupational therapy school; however, this program also goes beyond the minimum requirements to ensure that students are prepared for the rigors of a professional program. Examples of courses within the curriculum include general biology, anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, general chemistry, organic chemistry, physics, calculus, physics, psychology, sociology, and statistics.
