The program offered at is distinguished from other computation science programs because it supports significant customization, allowing you to pursue interests in data science, computational sciences, mathematical economics, and more.

This program also allows students an opportunity to receive certification in Statistical Analysis System (SAS) without any additional courses.  Students will also gain hands-on experience through an internship or research program that could lead to future career opportunities.

As scientific and engineering fields deal with increasingly complex and expanded information and data sets, the need for individuals with such computational skills is expected to expand greatly. This program provides students with a set of highly marketable skills applicable to many areas of science, industry, business, and government.
