You?ll start earlier and spend more time (seven out of eight semesters) observing and teaching in real classrooms than students in other college programs. Heidelberg education majors have over 160 hours in a classroom before they start student-teaching. Field experiences are set up to expose you to a variety of populations, grade levels, and teaching styles. Getting into a real classroom early not only makes sure you enjoy teaching, but allows you to feel confident and prepared for your senior year student-teaching experience.
