The MS degree program in applied biological sciences is designed to train students who are creative problem-solvers, who are technically proficient whether they work in the field or at the laboratory bench, who stay abreast of scientific advances and the technical literature in their field of research, who are articulate in oral and written communication, and who understand the societal and policy implications of their work.
