• The master's degree program in marriage and family therapy requires the successful completion of a minimum of 39 credit hours and a project, including required coursework and completion of 300 client-contact hours in a community internship placement approved by the master's degree in marriage and family therapy faculty. Internships are expected to last approximately 12 months.
  • Students must maintain a GPA of 3.00 (scale is 4.00 = "A") in all coursework and satisfactorily meet the expectations of the agency supervising their internship.
  • Students are required to have a vehicle and a valid Arizona driver's license for internship placement.
  • An internship entrance examination is held at the end of the first 7.5-week semester to determine student readiness for internship placement.
