Our program offers courses that are industrially relevant, academically rigorous, and flexible in their delivery to allow students to keep up with outside commitments while working toward a future career. Students with manufacturing, construction, safety management, engineering, or other related technical backgrounds are prime candidates for the B.A.A.S. in Manufacturing and Industrial Management.

Our program differs from others because we accept many types of workforce credits, technical training, and work experience. These occupationally-specific credits are earned by community college students who are working toward, or have completed, an Associate in Applied Sciences (AAS) degree. Certain credits earned in technical institutions or in the military can also be transferred. Tarleton State University is one of very few universities in Texas that offers an industrial based curriculum.
