The University of Texas, Persian Basin Campus

The University of Texas, Permian Basin has its main campus at Odyssey and the 2nd campus at Midway. The institute includes all the facilities like the largest heated outdoor pool in West Texas and 3-mile walking/jogging park around main campus. Work While You Study

International students with F-1 Visa and M-1 visas can work only on-campus until they complete their first academic year. Off-campus work can be taken after the first academic year that is program-specific. Some of the program-specific Off-campus employment for international students include Optional Practical Training, STEM, etc., where students can work for 12 months as a part of the training process. Students after completing their degrees in STEM are further eligible for a 24months extension after completing OPT.
