Our multidisciplinary approach to Environmental Science will enable you to address both environmental and human concerns associated with the increasing frequency of droughts, diminishing availability of critical resources, along with other increasing concerns regarding air and water pollution. Through coursework and internships, you will learn how to assess different aspects of the field, such as:
- Environmental conditions
- Providing environmental remediation
- Ensuring effective natural resource management
- Educating community members & policy makers
- Public health
- Advocating for new environmental laws & policies
You will also learn how to use critical assessment tools, such as Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and remote sensing, that will analyze interactions among environmental impacts.?
