The B.S.A.S. degree is primarily intended to assist in career advancement, life enrichment opportunities for students training in specific vocational or technological occupations, and offer an alternative for mid-career changes. The program is composed of the required university core courses, upper-level business courses, and approved vocational coursework and/or training.
The B.S.A.S. degree program accepts credit hours from students who have completed technical/occupational specializations from a community college, technical school, or military school. A student must have a minimum of 12 credit hours of vocational coursework and/or training completed to qualify for this program. Up to 36 credit hours can be awarded and credited as occupational specialization under this degree plan. All vocational coursework and/or training submitted for credit consideration must be documented and approved.
