Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have passed 12th grade from a recognised institution
- GPA of 3.4
- Students must complete at least two Math courses at UCSB or an accredited community college or university before a Change of Major petition can be submitted. The Math department will process the petition in the following quarter. Petitions will only be processed and approved if students receive a combined 2.5 GPA in the two required Math courses taken at UCSB or a combined 3.3 GPA in the two required courses taken at another institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test.
