At the heart of economics lies the study of the behavior of consumers, producers, and governments. Economics emphasizes the major strategic decisions facing businesses and governments, including setting prices, investing in plant and equipment, hiring workers, and determining policy. Courses in Economics emphasize critical and logical thinking and a commitment to lifelong learning. Students learn how to ask the right questions, work with numbers, and develop their written communication and computer skills.

Excellent Preparation for Graduate School
