Candidates of the program who maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.3 in the required courses for the major, take the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), and complete the specified course work will:
- satisfy the requirements for the B.S. in Biology and
- have a position reserved for them in the Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine program at Western University of Health Sciences for the year following completion of the B.S. degree. Additional information regarding application and admission to the program is available in the Biology Department Office.
