The program provides a variety of options for candidates to develop and enhance expertise in a particular field of interest such as educational technology, mathematics education, language and literacy, and other specializations related to elementary, middle school, and secondary education.

There is also an online option for the Master of Arts in Education. The program meets 25% face-to-face and 75% online. During the face-to-face sessions, students will be part of experiences that will emphasize community development, which will allow participants to get to know their peers and instructors and allow them to learn the online tools that will be used for instructional delivery.
