The program offered by Sonoma State University?contains flexibility sufficient to meet the varying personal, professional and academic needs of the candidate. The M.A. degree in History is a 30-unit program. Requirements include at least 15 units of 500-leval coursework; of these, two seminars and the final project are mandatory. Students may apply up to 15 units of upper division work (at the 300 or 400-level) toward the M.A. degree.
