The other 3 are designed for students going directly into the workforce after graduating: Polymer Physics, Engineering Technology, and the Customized Option. We also offer a Bachelor of Science in Education degree in Physics for students planning to teach middle or high school.Career Options for Physics

  • As a graduate of this program, you will be well-equipped to pursue the avenue of your interest, whether it is entering the workforce or pursuing further education. More than half of our graduates go on to attend graduate school. Most of these graduates successfully attain PhD's in physics, astronomy, or other closely related fields.
Internship and research opportunities
  • As an undergraduate student, you can become involved in the current research projects of the faculty. These research projects include gamma-ray spectroscopy, planetary science, molecular spectroscopy, nanophysics, and thin film solid state physics.
