Psychology is one of seven departments within the College of Liberal Arts (COLA) at NSU. Our department is made up of full-time faculty members who have each received graduate level preparation and have earned the distinction of a doctoral degree. We also enjoy the benefit of adjunct faculty who teach at NSU on a part time basis and have real-world experience that compliments their teaching. Consistent with the mission of NSU, the Psychology Department is committed to providing exemplary teaching, scholarship, and outreach, with the goal of ensuring student success. We are here to work collaboratively with you to become a life-long learner and one who can be a leader and productive citizen.
We offer numerous courses covering introductory and specialized topics, psychological science, and practical field experience, ultimately leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree in General Psychology. The undergraduate program is designed to be completed in four years.
