With an aim to develop the next generation of physicians, scientists, pharmacists and health professionals, Medical College of Wisconsin offers graduate programs through its Medical School, Graduate School, and Pharmacy School. It accepts admission applications on a rolling basis for its Fall, Spring, or Summer Semesters.

Students need to demonstrate their English Language Proficiency to be able to study in the USA. Students from English-speaking nations are exempted from these tests.

US Visa for International students

International students require a student visa to study in the USA. The college will issue accepted students an I-20 form which will be required to apply for an F1 visa. This visa also allows them to work on campus as well as off-campus. Documents required to the application for an F1 Visa are:

  • Valid passport
  • Two Passport-sized photographs
  • I-20 or DS-2019 document mailed by the College
  • Receipt for payment of I-901 SEVIS fee
  • Evidence of sufficient financial support in the form of a bank statement
  • Acceptance letter from the college
  • Proof of permanent residence outside the United States

Students must then schedule an interview at the US Embassy.

Admission decisions are based upon the contents of application submission. Admission review and the decision are usually made within 6-8 weeks of an application made by the faculty of various programs since the admission committee for each program varies. Selected students are communicated via the MCW Graduate School by sending an official email notification.
