  • School of Health Professions at MD Anderson offers 12-degree programs in allied health services at UG and PG levels. GSBS (Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences) offers MS and Ph. D programs in a broad spectrum of biomedical sciences to international students.
  • MD Anderson is situated in the heart of the Texas Medical Center. The GSBS campus is considered to be among the world's largest and best-equipped facilities for biomedical science training and clinical research.
  • International students are not offered residence at MD Anderson. However, 2 well-equipped, separate apartment complexes at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston consider accommodation requests of enrolled students.

  • Application deadline:
  1. Application Deadline for UG courses at SHP (Fall 2019 intake): May 1.
  2. MS in Diagnostics Genetics: September 15 – April 1 for Fall intake.
  3. Application deadlines for MS Radiological Sciences: May 1 – October 15.
  4. Deadline for receipt of all application materials for Ph.D. at GSBS is December 1, 2019.
  5. MS program in Biomedical Sciences is April 1, 2020.
  • General requirements: Minimum overall GPA of 2.5 on a scale of 4.0, official academic transcripts, TOEFL Score, GRE score (for Graduate Programs), personal essay, recommendations.
  • Additional requirements: CV/Resume, research statement, list of published work, passport copy, insurance documentation, and valid student Visa.
