University of West Alabama Campus and Accommodation

The campus of University of West Alabama is equipped with various facilities for students. Everyday activities like fishing in a nearby pond is a part of campus life at University of West Alabama.

University of Alabama Accommodations

Freshmen students are required to live on campus for at least their first academic year. Additionally, on-campus residency is a condition to be satisfied for retaining some University scholarship too.

• All freshmen students are housed together in the Gilbert Hall where 14 resident assistants are on duty to provide support and guidance to first year students while they adjust to college life.
• The assignment of room depends upon the grade, better the score, better are the chances of choosing the residence halls after freshman year.
• Residence hall rooms are furnished with a desk, chair, bed, closet space and dresser cabinet with drawers.
• Common amenities in all housing options include television cable service, private bathrooms, study rooms, lounge area on each floor, living learning communities, community lounge with TV, Wi-Fi, central heating and air conditioning facility, laundry room and dining facility.
