• The MSc in Management Information System is designed to integrate knowledge of information technology (IT) and the functional areas of business, with emphasis on strategic IT applications and the development of project management, team, and communication competencies.
  • The program focuses on enhancing awareness in the information systems arena through the development of advanced competencies in computer applications development and use.
  • It has an 18-hour block of required business core courses in addition to the 36-hour information technology-related courses.  These courses provide a business foundation for the required technology courses. 
  • The program is designed to build upon business experience to prepare graduates for roles such as business systems analyst, database administrator, communications manager, IT management/corporate liaison, IT product manager, and project manager.
