By the end of their college journey, Art Education students at Saint Vincent College will:

• Be prepared to teach art in kindergarten through twelfth-grade classrooms.
• Know and be able to use art education-based vocabulary.
• Critique their own work as well as the work of others.
• Identify stylistic characteristics.
• Acquire basic facility in a broad range of media.
• Acquire advanced facility in one artistic medium.
• Understand possible career paths and graduate school opportunities.
