Students can choose between two concentrations:

• Marine Biology

• Oceanography

The field of marine science offers career options in industry, government, marine biology, oceanography, marine engineering and geology, pharmaceuticals, and natural resource development and protection. You can find employment in aquatic environmental consulting, at a zoo or aquarium, or even at a pharmaceutical or microbiology laboratory. Students are also prepared to further their education in graduate school.
