Food is essential for our bodies. There are foods that have health benefits and foods that we eat for fun. Unless we have a food allergy or the food is beyond it’s expiration date, there are no bad foods. We choose foods for many reasons. We may love the food, we may be hungry, or we feel there are health benefits in this food.We need to honor our hunger and not experience guilt when we choose a food. Feeling guilty and bad about eating certain foods can cause us undue stress and often starts a cycle of overeating and restriction.
