The academic program for M.S. students features two years of general and specialized course work followed by a period of intensive research in an area selected by the student and his/her faculty mentor. The program features a combination of core, skill and focus courses. All students are required to take a graduate-level course in Graduate Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the Cell. Students also receive training in preparation and presentation of seminars.?
