Students will:
- Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the breadth of environmental science.
- Acquire a set of skills and tools to gather, analyze, and interpret environmental data.
- Use a depth of knowledge to address an environmental problem through a sub-discipline.
- Solve an environmental problem using inquiry, mining of information from primary sources, critical thinking skills, and analytical interpretation through a capstone or thesis for graduation with distinction.
- Develop effective communication skills, both oral and written.
- Apply their academic experience in a real-world setting.
