The program also prepares students for graduate studies and academic careers in all aspects of Russian history and culture.
- As a Russian major, students will begin with a series of progressive language courses designed to teach them to read, write and speak Russian in two years. Students’ upper-division courses will include more advanced language instruction, literature courses which will train them in literary and linguistic analysis and culture courses where they will gain insight into the history and traditions of the Russian people.
