The Medical Dietetics program is fully accredited by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics, and is recognized by the United States Department of Education and the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. Ohio State’s program was established in 1961 and was the first of its kind in the country. The curriculum includes all knowledge and practice skills required to become a registered dietitian and to obtain a license in Ohio.
