- The Master of Science in Mathematics program is designed to prepare students for a career in private industry, to deepen the content knowledge of secondary teachers or for continued graduate study
- Students will study course like Advanced Calculus Real analysis, Selected Topics from Higher Algebra, etc.
- The mathematics curriculum focuses on knowledge acquisition and skills building in the various disciplines of mathematics
- A minimum of 30 semester hours of MAT graduate work must be completed. Any PHY graduate course may be substituted in lieu of up to 9 of these hours.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academics:
- All general requirements for admission to the graduate school of Mississippi College must be met.
- Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum (or equivalent) of a Mississippi College undergraduate minor in Mathematics. The suitability of courses will be determined by the graduate faculty.
- GRE Requirement:
- Verbal: 146 or better
- Quantitative: 141 or better
English Proficiency:
- Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program
