The Master of Science in Mathematics program is designed to prepare students for a career in private industry, to deepen the content knowledge of secondary teachers or for continued graduate study
Students will study course like Advanced Calculus Real analysis, Selected Topics from Higher Algebra, etc.
The mathematics curriculum focuses on knowledge acquisition and skills building in the various disciplines of mathematics
A minimum of 30 semester hours of MAT graduate work must be completed. Any PHY graduate course may be substituted in lieu of up to 9 of these hours.

Academics:

All general requirements for admission to the graduate school of Mississippi College must be met.
Applicants should possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum (or equivalent) of a Mississippi College undergraduate minor in Mathematics. The suitability of courses will be determined by the graduate faculty.
GRE Requirement:
- Verbal: 146 or better
- Quantitative: 141 or better

English Proficiency:

Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program
