The program enables participants to gain the conceptual, technical, and theoretical knowledge in the human resources area needed to assume principalship or other entry-level administrative positions. Key areas explored in the program are curriculum, supervision, guidance, personnel administration, community relations, school management, and school law. In addition to a master's degree, a candidate for a professional administrator license must have two years of experience under a provisional or professional license in a public school setting; a State Board of Education examination; an entry-level program; and other requirements the State of Ohio may establish.
