Human resource management will prepare you to handle the internal operations of complex organizations to maximize employee performance. Our curriculum is aligned with the Society of Human Resources Management's standards to ensure you're prepared to recruit and hire new employees, set up pay and benefit plans, generate a skilled workforce through training and maintain a safe work environment.
As a business management major with an organizational leadership emphasis, you will be provided with a strong, practice-oriented education in the thinking, communication and interpersonal skills you need to be successful in your career as a manager and leader. The organizational leadership minor is open to all business majors who want to develop the soft skills needed to succeed in contemporary organization.
