On-campus Apartments

This is a student resident with six apartment buildings. Each apartment unit provides private bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living-dining area. A laundry facility on each floor is also provided. Well furnished kitchens are also provided on each floor. Clet Hall, Lynch or O'Donoughue Hall, and Seton or O'Shea Hall are the on-campus accommodation options.

Residence Halls

Niagara’s residence halls include a lounge, common area and complimentary use of the washer and dryer. Each room consists of desks, chairs, and dressers. Outlets for telephone, computer and Tv are also installed in the rooms along with wi-fi. Eagle Circle Apartments is the residence hall option.

Varsity Village

This kind of accommodation consists of six Tudor-style houses. Students with single-gender are welcomed here. Rooms in the occupancy of single, double, and triple are available. Apart from beds, the apartment is enabled with TV in the common living room, complimentary use of washer and dryer is also there. Patios are connected with each house.

Accommodation for students with special needs

The university offers accommodation for students with a disability. The students with vision disabilities are provided with an interpreter, access to assistive technology instead of printed materials. To get accommodation at the Niagara University the student is required to register with the university’s Accessibility services, documents of disability, and request needed.

UG Admissions

Niagara university requires various documents from international students which are as follows:

  • Letter of recommendation
  • An essay.
  • Transcripts from the last institute attended.
  • A language proficiency exam such as TOEFL, are required at the time of admission. Students can also appear for the IELTS exam instead of the TOEFL exam. Niagara University does not require you to submit the language test if he/she has completed it’s high school courses in the English language. 
  • In some courses the students can submit an SAT exam’s score in place of TOEFL or IELTS.

Graduate Admissions

The students seeking admission for the graduate programs are as follows:

  • Students seeking admission in the graduate programs are required to have successfully completed a degree that is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in the USA.
  •  Transcripts in the English language are required to be sent to the university. 
  • Non-native English speaking students must verify their English proficiency by submitting either TOEFL or IELTS scores. The language exam can be waived off if the student is working with an accredited language program affiliated with the university i.e. Embassy English. Further to complete the application the student is required to fulfill other requirements by the specific program.

Niagara University Scholarships

Niagara University’s international students are provided with the Merit-based scholarships. It is available to the students pursuing undergraduate studies. They are awarded automatically upon the acceptance of students. The scholarship is offered on the basis of their high school GPA, SAT or ACT scores.

The range of the scholarship is renewable which ranges from 10,000 - 23,000 USD per year.

Some students are also offered generous transfer student scholarships, major-specific awards, and scholarships based on athletics.
