An athletic trainer is a highly qualified health care professional who specializes in prevention, recognition, management, and rehabilitation of injuries that result from physical activity. As a part of a complete health care team, the certified athletic trainer works under the direction of a licensed physician and in cooperation with other health care professionals, athletics administrators, coaches, and parents. Not only will Anderson University prepare you for the certification exam, our ATEP will also prepare you for a life of professional service to physically active individuals.
