Maharana Pratap Horticultural University (MHU) came into existence on 28th November, 2016.MHU, Karnal offers post graduate degree in M.Sc. which includes courses in 3 streams. It also offers Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) under three specializations namely Vegetable Science, Fruit Science and Floriculture & Landscape architecture.

For aspirants seeking admission to M.Sc. and Ph.D. degree programmes, it is mandatory to appear for the CET to be organised by Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University (CCSHAU).
The selection of candidates is based on their merit in the CET.
The application form can be downloaded from the official website or it can also be collected from the Camp Office of the University located at Faculty House, CCSHAU, Hisar.
The application form along with application fee must be submitted in the shape of bank draft before the last date for the receipt of application forms.
The physical Counselling will be held by MHU in its Camp Office (Faculty House) at CCSHAU, Hisar for which the candidates will be required to attend the Documents Verification and Counselling as per the specified programme in person.
The degrees for M.Sc. and Ph.D. Degree Programmes will be conferred by MHU to the successful candidates.

The minimum duration of the Ph.D. degree program is 3 years and the maximum duration is 6 years.

Then login with the details and fill the online application form with required details
Upload the scanned photographs, signature, and proof for the concession of the fee if applicable by the candidate.

CCSHAU Entrance Exam Pattern

Total Number of Questions: 100 MCQs of 1 mark each
Duration: 2 hour 30 minutes
No marks will be deducted for an incorrect answer. Therefore, there is no negative marking.
Candidates must secure a minimum of 50% marks (47.5% for SC/ST candidates) in the entrance test to qualify the entrance exam.
