Vijaybhoomi University Scholarships

Vijaybhoomi University offers need-cum-merit based scholarships to make liberal professional education accessible and affordable for students from all walks of life. Scholarships are awarded to the best-performing candidates at the time of admissions. Available scholarships for the academic year beginning July/August 2022 are detailed below. 

1. Scholarship for Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 100% scholarship that will cover tuition and hostel fees (Registration fees of INR 50,000 will be charged). To avail the EWS scholarship the following criteria shall be observed:

• The family income should be below INR 8 LPA. 
• The candidate should have a domicile of Maharashtra.
• The candidate should have undergone the VU selection process and earned qualifying marks prescribed for the EWS scholarships, have been recommended by the ASP panel, and been approved by the Dean For grant of scholarship, a candidate must secure the prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the Academic Council

2. Defense Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to the wards of parents who are employed by the Defence Services like Army, Airforce and the Navy. The student needs to undergo the VU selection process and earn qualifying marks prescribed for the merit scholarships and also have been recommended by the panel members in the ASP for both admissions and scholarship. For grant of scholarship, a candidate must secure the prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the Academic Council. 
3. Exceptional Sports/Performance Scholarship: Candidates who have represented their state or the country in any national or international sport event or those applicants who have attained and can demonstrate proficiency in performing arts are eligible for the scholarship. The student needs to undergo the VU selection process and earn qualifying marks prescribed for the merit scholarships and also have been recommended by the panel members in the ASP for both admissions and scholarship. For grant of scholarship, a candidate must secure the prescribed qualifying marks, as approved by the Academic Council.
