Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/ Biology.
Admission will be granted based on the score obtained in VITEEE followed by counseling.
For B.Com and BBA, candidates must have passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 60% marks.
Candidates who wish to pursue B.Sc program must have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with Mathematics as a compulsory subject with an aggregate of at least 60% marks.
Admission to B.Com, BBA and B.Sc programs will be offered based on merit in the qualifying examination.
For MCA, students must hold a BCA, B.Sc (IT/ Computer Science) degree with Mathematics as a compulsory subject in 10+2 or in Graduation with an aggregate of at least 60% marks.
Admission to MCA is done on the basis of performance in VITMEE followed by counselling process.
Candidates can apply for any of the programs available in either online or offline mode.

VIT Bhopal University B.Tech Admission 2023

VIT Bhopal University offers B.Tech program in 5 disciplines at the UG level. The eligibility of the Course is to Qualify the (10+2)th Examination by an aggregate Percentage of 60% and 55% for the Castes, J/K, Northern States or should be an Equivalent to (10+2)th Examination. The VITEEE, is a CBT-based Examination for the selection of Course options. The Selection Procedure was The Result as a RANK will be assigned which was used as a Serial Ranking for Online Counselling for the option of Courses with their Respective Campuses.

Should do proper research before joining

Remarks:

I was admitted to VIT Bhopal through the VITEEE exam fees for the exam are approx. 2000 rupees. For CAT 1 in Bhopal, your rank should be less Than 35k. Usually, the exam happens in the month of April, and management needs to improve a lot.

Remarks:

The entrance examination that one needs to clear in order to get admission here is VITEEE. A good rank in the exam will open up the opportunity for direct admission into the college. Among these two, NIT Raipur will be a better choice. Here is some insight about the institutes.

VIT Bhopal: In recent years, admissions in VIT were open for VIT rank > 1 Lakh, and even after that, the seats remained empty. As this is a new institute the infrastructure and faculty base is not that strong. It lacks good infrastructural facilities. There is no alumni network.
NIT Raipur: On the other hand, NIT Raipur is one of the most popular colleges in our country and you will have good faculty there. The only concern is your choice of branch. Choose B.Arch only if you are truly interested in Architecture.

LNCT Bhopal IT will be better. It is considered among the best private institutes in Bhopal. The academics and placement offered by the institute are excellent. Wipro, Infosys, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, DXC, etc. are some of the major recruiters for the branch. LNCT placements are excellent for IT. During the recent placement drive, students of the branch received the highest CTC of INR 27 LPA.

It’s difficult to determine which institute is better as the courses are not mentioned for the given college. However, given below are information about the colleges which may help you make the decision.

Ranking:

VIT Bhopal: The college was ranked number 1 by ARRIA in the list of the top private colleges for innovation in the academic year 2019.
Nirma University: It was ranked among the top 100 institutions in the country by NIRF in the academic year 2018. This university was the first private university in the state.
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University: The college was ranked as 151 out of the top 200 universities in India by NIRF. For MBA it was ranked 74th out of 100 and 4th best college in Gujarat.

Admissions:

VIT Bhopal: The admission to the college is done on the basis of class 12th marks and in certain courses, the college conducts its CET (common entrance test) and if the students get the required marks they are called for counseling.
Nirma University: For admissions, the criteria for every course is different. But mostly the college accepts common exams like JEE Mains, CLAT, GATE, CAT and MAT.
Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University: Admission in B.Tech and M. Tech is done through JEE mains and GATE. The students who want to do MBA need to give CAT/XAT/NMAT.

Yes, VIT Bhopal is better than IIT Indore. It offers better academics. The student crowd of VIT Bhopal is great. The course curriculum is designed according to the industry requirements. VIT focuses on offering industry-relevant skills and knowledge.

VIT Bhopal is a better option among these. It is a new campus but it offers similar opportunities as VIT Vellore. Placements are the same for both VIT campuses. Bhopal campus has good facilities. Departments such as CSE, Mechanical, Physics, Chemistry, etc. have well-equipped laboratories.

VIT Bhopal placements 2022 concluded with the highest CTC of INR 45.03 LPA. Recruiters such as Amazon, JP Morgan Chase, Microsft, etc. frequently visit the campus drive.
