PVNRTVU offers M.V.Sc and Ph.D. program in various disciplines on the basis of a valid score in University-Based Entrance Test. Ph.D. admission is based on the marks in the qualifying degree, entrance test and interview before selection committee at PVNRTVU, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad.
M.V.Sc entrance test includes various subjects as per the regulations of MSVE-VCI 2008. The test contains 200 MCQs. Students have to secure at least 40% marks (no bar for SC/ST/ PH candidates) in the test to secure admission.

Key Points:
- Four seats in each discipline of M.V.Sc course are reserved for the candidates of sponsored category.
- Two seats in each discipline of Ph.D. program are reserved for the candidates of the sponsored category.
- For M.V.Sc program, in-service and industry-sponsored candidates will be exempted from the qualifying entrance test.
Selection Criteria for M.V.Sc: Final admission to M.V.Sc program is based on the marks in academics and score in the entrance test. Weightage for different parameters are tabulated below:

Ph.D. Entrance Test Criteria: The entrance test will consist of 100 MCQs. Students have to score at least 50% marks in the test in order to be qualified. Final selection will be offered on the basis of following parameters:
