For M.A. Admissions at Rayalaseema University, the minimum eligibility requirement is, the candidate must have passed a 10+2 examination with 50% marks and Passed at Graduate level in relevant discipline. The admission shall be made on the basis of the merit index in the RUPGCET - 2020

Rayalaseema University M.A Specializations 

Rayalaseema University M.A. Eligibility Criteria: 

• The candidate should have passed the qualifying degree examination with a minimum of 40% marks or equivalent grade in the concerned subject. 
•  The candidate should have qualified the RUPGCET-2020 admission test with a minimum of 40% for OC/BC students and 35% SC/ST students in the concerned subject. 
•  For the courses where admission is based on the degree as a whole, the aggregate percentage of marks in the group subjects should be at least 40%. 
•  For admission to M.Ed, the aggregate marks in B.Ed/ BEIEd should be at least 50% and in case of DEIEd with UG / PG Degree with 45% in each course. 
•  A pass is sufficient for SC /ST candidates for admission to any course. 
•  B.P.Ed. or B.P.E. with 55% of marks is eligible for admission into M.P.Ed. 

Rayalaseema University M.A. Selection Procedure:

Selection in the M.A. programme shall be based on the performance in an Common Entrance Test.

• All candidates appearing for the Entrance Test will be awarded RUPGCET-2020 testwise Ranks as per marks secured by the candidate in the test. 
•  In case of a tie between candidates securing the same mark in a test, the order of merit will be decided on the basis of date of birth of the candidate with priority to older candidate. 
•  Candidate has to download Rank Card from the website only. 
•  There is no provision for revaluation or personal verification. 

Rayalaseema University Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (Rupgcet-2020) Pattern?:

Entrance Exam will be of 90 minutes duration with 100 Multiple Choice Questions. Each correct answer will be awarded one mark. No negative marking for wrong answers. Each subject paper is divided into three sections i.e. A, B and C.

Tie Breaking

When there is a tie in marks obtained in the test as a whole, it will be resolved on the basis of marks obtained in Section-C of subject. If there is still a tie, it will be resolved on the basis of marks obtained in Section-B of subject. If there is still a tie, it will be resolved as per seniority in age.

TEST PROCEDURE 

•  The Syllabi for the entrance test can be had from University websites: http://rudoa.in/, http://ruk.ac.in/ 
•  Candidates shall come to the Examination hall at least half-an hour before the commencement of the Test. 
• . Candidates will not be allowed into the examination hall without hall-ticket or after the commencement of the Test. They will not be allowed to leave the examination hall before the stipulated time. 
•  Calculators, pagers, cell phones, books, papers, logarithm tables, slide-rule or any other calculating aids are NOT ALLOWED into the Examination hall. 
• Candidates should answer all the questions in online test mode only.

Candidates need to appear for documents verification with all the original certificates, along with two sets of Xerox copies of certificates

• Study Certificates for the last seven years ending with the qualifying examination or Residence Certificate for preceding seven years of the qualifying examination. 
•  Intermediate original certificate. 
•  Integrated Community Certificate in case of SC/ST/BC/EBC/Minority candidates.

• Discharge certificate and service certificate of the parent in case of children of armed personnel. 
• Physical fitness certificate from an Asst. Civil Surgeon.
