Amity University Ranchi offers undergraduate programs viz. BBA, BCA, B.Com, BA, B.Sc in multiple specializations. Candidates must score at least 55% aggregate marks in 10+2 with relevant subjects to be eligible for admission. Biotechnology applicants must have Physics, Mathematics and Biology as compulsory subjects in 10+2 while B. Sc IT aspirants must have either Mathematics or computer science. Mathematics or Economics is compulsory for B.A. Economics applicants. Admissions are merit-based on qualifying examination. The university also offers B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Biotechnology, Electronics And Communication, And Computer Science Engineering. Candidates must score at least 55% marks in their 10+2 examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology (for B. Tech Biotechnology) as compulsory subjects.

Candidates have to go through the institute level entrance exam (Amity JEE) to be eligible for admission. JEE Main scores are also accepted by the institute. The postgraduate courses offered by Amity University Ranchi include MCA and MBA. Candidates must secure at least 50% marks in graduation to be eligible for admission. MCA applicants should either have completed BCA or should have Mathematics as a subject in graduation.

Candidates are selected on the basis of academic merit. Shortlisted candidates have to go through English language test and/or a group discussion and/or an interview. Fill the application form correctly and upload a scanned copy of recent passport sized photograph and class X mark sheet.

Offline

One of my cousins studied at Amity Mumbai, so I am a bit aware of the college. In my opinion, you should go with Amity University, Mumbai.

The faculty is very well experienced with good qualifications.
You will also have a number of industrial visits on a regular basis that will help you gain insight into where you will stand in your future.
The libraries are also well-stocked which will help you gain good knowledge as a student.
The department also conducts a number of moot court sessions that help students gain practical knowledge apart from the theoretical concepts that are already taught.
Apart from this, you will also gain ample exposure through many internships.

Don’t choose Amity University for a master's degree. Amity has good campuses and infrastructure. For bachelor's, it is a decent option. But for MCA, you should consider reputed colleges under state universities or central universities. JNU, NIT, and IIT are some good options for MCA. If you need, you can take a gap year and prepare again.

Amity is a private university whereas Xavier is semi govt and it is always far better than Amity. BBA faculty at Xavier is awesome and you will get more opportunities like internships, good placement.
