Amity University Ranchi Admissions
Amity accepts admission applications through both online and offline mode.
- The basic eligibility criteria for admissions to UG programs such as BA(Hons) in Economics and English, and B.Sc(Hons) in Biotechnology is 55% aggregate marks in 10+2.
- Amity University also provides admissions to Law courses such as BA.LLB(Hons) and BBA.LLB(Hons) at UG level and LLB at PG level. Basic eligibility criteria for UG course is 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks and Graduation with 50% aggregate marks for PG course.
- Admissions to undergraduate engineering and postgraduate management courses are entrance based. JEE Mains/Amity JEE scores are considered for B.Tech admissions and CAT/MAT scores are considered for MBA admissions.
- The university also conducts its own entrance exam such as Amity JEE and aptitude tests for admissions to all courses at UG and PG level.
How to Apply?
Online mode:
- Amity accepts applications through online mode from the special portal i.e Admission Microsite.
- Students need to apply for a favourable course.
- The application form fee is INR 1100 for online form.
- Incomplete forms are rejected and application fee is not refunded.
- After submitting duly filled application forms, students receive notification about the date, time and venue of written test /or Group Discussion /or Interview on the official website.
- All the shortlisted students after appearing in the entrance exam at campus will receive admission letters on the admission site.
Offline mode:
- Amity also offers offline application form filling facility.
- Duly filled application form with photographs and required documents is required to be sent to the campus office.
- Along with this a DD of INR 1100 in favor of "Amity Form" payable at Delhi/New Delhi (in case of downloaded form) should be submitted / sent to the respective campus you are applying to.

Amity University Ranchi Scholarships
- Amity University does provide scholarships of different categories to students.
- Students securing 80% aggregate or above in 10+2 get fast track admission. Such students do not need to go through entrance tests; these students are selected on the basis of marks in 10+2.
- Scholarships are awarded annually also depending on the semester results, students obtaining marks in top 5% gets 100% scholarship and students securing position in top 10% gets 50% scholarship.
- Students who have obtained 93% in 10+2 or above then get a 100% scholarship for next year.
- The scholarship does not include boarding and lodging fee and refundable deposit. Scholarship is only on the tuition fee.
- Entrance exam top scorers also get scholarships , exams such as CAT/JEE Mains are eligible for this scholarship.

I'm currently pursuing BCA from Amity University Jharkhand and I think this is the best technical College in Jharkhand. This college provides more placements than others in this state. This college gives practical classes with updated software and provides licensed software to use for practice in the home. The teachers are very cooperative. They support in college as well as after college in every manner they can.
