Parul University is a private university in Vadodara, Gujarat, India. It was established in 2009 as the Parul Group of Institutes and was given university status in 2015. The University is recognized by the University Grants Commission, the National Assessment and Accreditation Council and the National Board of Accreditation.

Parul University offers a wide range of courses at UG, PG and Doctoral level focusing the multiple areas such as Engineering, Architecture, Medical, Arts, Science, Computer etc. It also offers Diploma and Certificate programs.

Parul University Admission for Work Integrated Programs (WIPs) has started. WIPS are offered at UG, PG and Diploma levels to ensure continuity of academics while pursuing a profession. Interested candidates can apply online at the official website: paruluniversity.ac.in.

Admission to all UG and PG courses is based on merit secured in the previous qualifying exam.
For B.Tech. and B.Arch., the university accepts JEE Main and NATA score respectively.
Selection to MBBS is done on the NEET UG exam
Candidates can take admission in MBA based on CAT/ MAT/ CMAT score.
Admission to MD and MS is done on the basis of NEET PG exam.
Parul University also conducts a Counselling process for all the courses.
Ph.D. admission is based on UGC/ SLET/ NET/ GATE/ GPAT/ CSIR followed by an Interview.

Parul University B.Tech and B.Arch Admission 2023

Parul University offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch) with a duration of four and five years respectively. The university also accepts a Lateral or 2nd-year entry in B.Tech.

To apply for B.Tech candidates are bound to appear in Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) which is equipped to seek admission in B.Tech.

At the UG level, the university offers a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) with a duration of 5.5 years. Candidates holding a 10+2 level degree in the relevant discipline are considered to be eligible for MBBS.

Candidates seeking admission in MBBS need to appear in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) conducted by CBSE, as per the new rules established by the supreme court.

At the UG level, the university offers a bunch of Medical courses like B.Sc. (Nursing), B.Sc., BASLP, A.N.M, G.N.M, B.Pharm, B.Pharm.-Practice, B.A.M.S, B.H.M.S and B.P.T. Candidates need to have a 10+2 level degree from an authorized institution.

Candidates will be selected based on merit followed by personal counselling which is conducted by the university itself.

The university offers numerous courses at the undergraduate level such as B.Des., B.Sc. B.Sc Agriculture (Hons), BBA, BCA, BVA, BSW, B.Com. (Hons), LLB, Integrated Law programme, BA, BHMCT and B.Lib. & I.Sc. Candidates must have passed 10+2 in relevant streams for applying to any of these courses. Parul University offers Master of Technology (M.Tech) and Master of Planning (M.Plan) holding a duration of two years. Candidates need to have a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline from a recognized university, to fulfil the eligibility criteria.

One of my friends is a recent graduate from the university and had pursued a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering. He can portray his facts better. So, here is what he has to say. Environment: The environment of the university is affluent and it frequently organizes events. However, if you are looking beyond frequent events or cultural activities, and want an environment better for studying, innovation, or meeting brilliant students alike, then you should consider other options. Study Culture and Infrastructure: The faculty in the university is good but the environment is not that encouraging. You also might get caught up between choosing whether you should prepare for the classes while being at home, or you should typically visit the institute’s environment due to mandatory attendance rules. Hostel Life: The hostels are decent, unlike many others. However, the campus security officials can sometimes be non-cooperative. They have imposed rules and regulations that are somewhat illiberal and conservative. Placements: The placements in the university are not up to the mark as well. There are times when students get placed in industries where they obtain minimal pay, such as 13,000 per month or less. According to recent placement statistics the highest CTC offered at the institute is 29 LPA. Other Facilities: There is a provision of the gym, but it is mostly overcrowded. You are allotted only 1 hour to spend in the gymnasium nonetheless. In terms of safety, there are no cases against ragging in the institution until now. Don’t blindly believe the advertisement. Do your own research before you decide to go to this institute.

It offers specializations in - Big Data Analytics, Pharma Management, Health Care Management, HRM, Customs and Logistics, Entrepreneurship/Family Business, ports and Imports, Rural/Agriculture Development, IT, Marketing, Finance, Event Management, Operations, IB, and Tourism Management. The University has a decent placement record.
