Course Information

Eligibility Criteria

The application must have passed the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHEB)/ Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE)/ Indian Council of Secondary Examination (ICSE) or its equivalent under the 10+2 pattern in Commerce or Science stream, with the following subjects:
- English and
- Any one of the following:
  - Mathematics
  - Physics
  - Statistics
  - Business Mathematics
  - Accountancy
The applicant must have obtained the following minimum aggregate marks (i.e., total marks obtained divided by the maximum total marks admissible, including marks of all subjects- theory and practical):
- For open category candidates: 45%
- For reserved category (SC/ST/SEBC) candidate: 40%

Course Details

3-year full-time B.Com., BBA, and BCA programs are offered by the GLS University. The minimum eligibility to apply for B.Com., BBA, and BCA course is having passed 10+2 examination with at least 45% marks or equivalent.

Selection of the candidates to B.Com., BBA, and BCA courses are purely based on Merit.

BCA	10+2 from CBSE/ GHSEB/ ICSE board or any equivalent examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate with English, and Mathematics/ Physics/ Accountancy/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Accounting & Book Keeping/ Computers as the subjects.
B.Des	10+2 from CBSE/ GHSEB/ ICSE board or any equivalent examination with at least 45% marks.	Written Aptitude test conducted by GLS University followed by Personal Interview.

Key points:

The candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ SEBC category gets a relaxation of 5% marks in the aggregate score.
The total intake for B.Ed. course is 100 students.

About:

Auro University is a renowned private university located in Surat, Gujarat. It also has international collaborations.
GLS University is a private university located in Gujarat. The university currently holds more than 25,000 students. The university provides excellent career-oriented courses in Business Management, Computer Technology, Commerce, Education, Law, and Humanities.
United World School of Law (UWSL) is a private law school situated in Gujarat and offers courses in law.

Course:

Auro University offers BA + LLB and BBA + LLB in Law stream.
GLS offers BA + LLB which is a five-year course comprising ten semesters. 60 seats are available in this course.
United World School of Law offers a 5-year Integrated law course BBA, LL.B., and a one-year LLM course.

Faculty:

Auro University:

The university has highly qualified faculty members. All members of faculty are accomplished years of experience in their respective disciplines.

GLS University:

The faculty members of the college are good. Various guest lecturers such as judges and lawyers visit the campus to guide the students.

UWSL:

Students who have qualified for CLAT or LSAT are eligible for BA-LLB and BBA-LLB programs.

For admissions at GLS University, the minimum eligibility criteria include passing 10+2 in any stream.

UWSL:

Candidates who completed Class 12 in any stream can apply for the BBA LLB program. Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree can apply for the LLM program.

Placements:

The average package offered at the Auro University of Law is around 2.85 LPA.
GLS University has maintained a good placement. The average package was 2.8 LPA.
