Important Updates for SRM University Delhi NCR

SRM University Sonepat Admission 2024 is open for all UG and PG programs. Admissions to SRM Sonepat are done on the basis of SRMJEEE/ SRMJEEM/ SRMJEEH/ SRMHCAT. The last date for application for SRMHCAT (Round 1) is January 20, 2024 and the assessment will be conducted on January 25, 2024. However, the last date for application for SRMHCAT (Round 4) July 03, 2024.

The University is accepting applications for all three phases of SRMJEE 2024. SRMJEE 2024 Phase 1 exam dates are scheduled for 3^rd week of April, 2024. Furthermore, the last date for submission of the application form for SRMJEEE 2024 Phase 3 is 1^st week of June. .

SRM University Delhi NCR Sonepat is a private university situated in Sonepat, Haryana. This prestigious university was established in 2013 and is approved by UGC.

SRM University offers B.Tech, LLB (Hons), BBA, B.Com (Hons), BA and BCA courses at the UG level. It offers M.Tech, MBA, MCA, LLM, M.Com, MA and M.Sc programs at the PG level. The university also offers various integrated courses and PhD programs in various disciplines.

SRM provides Early Admission Mode (EAM) and only applies to SRM University, Sonepat, Haryana campus. campus. This is an advantage to the applicant, where they may book their seat for their preferred choice of program. By reserving the seats students gets the confirmation to study in that particular program, the only criterion is that the student must fulfill all the eligibility conditions like minimum pass percentage etc.

For admission to UG courses, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent in relevant stream from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks.
For B.Tech, a candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with PCM as the main subject and minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
Candidates with a valid SRMJEEE/ SRMH-CAT/ NEET/ IPU CET/ JEE Main score are eligible to apply for admission to the B.Tech program.
Students must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 50% marks to pursue PG courses from the university.
For M.Tech, a candidate must have passed BE/ B.Tech in the relevant discipline and a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
Admission to MBA is also done on the basis of CAT/MAT/XAT/NMAT.
For Admission to Integrated courses, a candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with minimum marks of 50% in aggregate.
For admission to the Ph.D. program, candidates must hold a PG degree in a relevant subject from a recognized university with an aggregate of at least 55% marks.
Admission to all the courses will be granted on the basis of scores obtained in SRMHCAT.
The university offers both online and offline mode of application to the candidates.
Admission to Ph.D. is granted on the basis of M.Phil/CSIR-UGC/JRF/SLET score.

SRM University UG Admission 2023 B.Tech, B.Sc., LLB, B.Com, BA, BCA, BBA, BA LLB, BBA LLB and Hotel Management

SRM University offers B.Tech program in 11 disciplines, B.Sc. course in six disciplines, L.L.B. (Hons), BBA, B.Com (Hons), BA and BCA programs at the UG level. The duration of B.Tech program is 3 years and for B.Com (Hons), B.Sc, B.Sc (Hons), BA, BBA, and BCA course duration is 3 years. The university also offers integrated courses like BBA LLB and BA LLB.

Candidates seeking admission to any of the UG and Integrated courses must have passed Class 12 or equivalent in relevant stream from a recognized board with an aggregate of at least 50% marks. For B.Tech, candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with PCM as main subjects and minimum 50% marks.

Admission to UG programs will be granted based on the score obtained in a common aptitude test conducted by SRM University (SRMHCAT ). Candidates with JEE Main score can also apply for admission to the B.Tech program.

SRM University Delhi NCR Sonepat offers BA + LLB and BBA + LLB programs at the UG level and offers B.Tech + MBA course at the PG level. The duration of all the integrated programs offered by SRM University Sonipat are of 5 year duration.

For admission to BA+ LLB, BBA+ LLB and B.Tech+ MBA courses candidates must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent with an aggregate of at least 50% marks from a recognized board to pursue an integrated program from the university.

Haryana Domicile Scholarship:

The criteria for availing the scholarship are:

Rank/Performance in the National Level Entrance Examination i.e. SRMHCAT only.
The student must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria.
Continuation of the scholarship in the subsequent years will be on the basis of minimal academic performance.

It is mandatory for candidates applying under the category of Haryana Domicile to submit a Domicile certificate at the time of counseling/admission.

Chancellor’s Scholarship:

This is a prestigious scholarship for academically meritorious candidates, achievers in sports, based on economic background. Candidates applying for Chancellor’s Scholarship must have qualified national level entrance examination SRMHCAT. The meritorious students can also avail of School Toppers’ Scholarship on the basis of
their merit in XII examination.

Students with ≥ 95 % in XII examination are eligible for a 100% scholarship in tuition fees.
Students with 92-94.9 % in XII examination are eligible for 75% scholarship in tuition
fees.
Students with 89-91.9% in XII examination are eligible for 50% scholarship in tuition
fees.
Students with 80-88.9 % in XII examination are eligible for 25% scholarship in tuition

Remarks:

To apply for admission in SRM University, Sonipat the student must have passed class 12 with at least 60% marks. For scholarship students can apply for SRMHCAT exam which is conducted by the University itself every year. I received 75% scholarship on tuition fee.

BBA at SRMUH

Remarks:

Finding the application was quite easy, every piece of information was available online and on the website. for my course (BBA) the eligibility criteria were to clear the 12th examination with 50 %, which was not difficult to get through. But yes there was surely a lot of competition as SRMUH is one of the best institutes in the Delhi NCR region. A huge number of students applied and only a few can get in, I was lucky enough that I got a chance to be a part of this prestigious university. I can confidently say that it has built my personality in various aspects.

how was my LLB in SRM UNIVERSITY, SONIPAT

Remarks:

For B.A. LLB. courses students need to have passed 10+2 with at least 50% of the qualifying exam and have to appear for SRMHCAT. Other exams such as LSAT India/ CLAT/ SAT/ AILET/ DU Law Faculty Entrance Exam are also accepted. I found the admission form and imp dates on the official website.

There are quite a few stories regarding violence by the local students in SRM University Haryana. Many of these students harass others from other regions and bully them. They will take advantage of you being away from home. They are known to bang doors and walls but they do not stop if you ask them to and it is definitely an unpleasant experience. There have also been cases of public indecency and the warden or hostel in charge will only make them write an apology letter. As of now, they have been silenced due to incessant complaining but the harassment still continues sometimes. If you are not from North India, then do not think of coming to SRM University. The batch of 2018-19 was not good at all. Most of the students were ill-minded and perhaps from the goonish areas of Haryana. If you bring your parents for a visit, most of them will have positive responses as they do not want to be silenced after complaints but this is the current scenario here. My advice to you would be to think twice before you decide to take a seat here.

Is CSE good at SRM Sonepat?

SRM Sonepat is still in its developing phase. You won’t get your money’s worth there. There are only 3 B.Tech batches that have passed out. Most placement offers are either from the marketing sector or business analysts. Just 5% of the students get job offers in core sectors of their specific streams but with a very low package. The faculty is also not that good. You can get better teachers even in certain coaching institutes where your total expense can climb up to only 6-10k for a valuable cause. You can also get various other colleges at almost the same fees, such as HMR, LPU, AMITY, SHARDA, JAYEEE, SRM Chennai, VIT, and several others. They might charge you more than the average amount, but you will be provided better faculty and facilities. The study environment in SRM Sonepat is not good neither is the student crowd. The Civil and Mechanical branches have acquired nearly zero placement (except only a handful of 2–3 students) for the past couple of years. The students who pass out are mostly offered jobs that are not related to their actual branch. So, it will be better if you don’t keep SRM Sonepat as one of your options.
