• The candidates with vocational streams in 10+2 must have minimum of 60% marks to apply for B.Sc. Agriculture or B.Sc. Horticulture in UBKV.

• The selection of the candidates will be based on merit in B.Sc. programs.

Uttar Banga Krishi Vishwavidyalya offers admission in B.Tech. Agriculture Engineering program to candidates who have passed 10+2. The application process for B.Tech. program will start from July 21. The candidates can apply online as well as offline. The candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for B.Tech. in UBKV:

• The university accepts candidates on the basis of their score in WBJEE, JEE Mains. WBJEE will be conducted on April 23 and JEE Mains will be conducted on April 2.
• The candidates who have valid JELET rank with a pass in Diploma examination from AICTE approved institution with 45% marks in Agriculture Engineering are also eligible to apply for B.Tech. Agriculture Engineering in UBKV.
• The candidates with B.Sc. degree from a recognized university with Mathematics in 10+2 are also eligible to apply for the program.
• The candidates can apply by visiting the official website of WBJEE and filling the application form online.
• The candidates are then required to upload the scanned copy of the required documents (signature and photograph) and pay the application fee of INR 500.
• The candidates applying through decentralized counseling of the vacant seats need to make a new account with a valid email id. Although old candidates can use their Login ID previously created to apply.
• Furthermore, candidates need to upload a passport size photograph, signature of the applicant and the signature of the guardian. Maximum size of all the pictures should be 20kb.

• The specializations offered in M.Sc. Horticulture are Floriculture, Medicinal & Aromatic Plants, Plantation Crops & Processing, Pomology and Post Harvest Technology, Vegetables & Spice Crops.
• The application fee can be paid via Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking or through offline mode i.e. bank challan.
• The candidates applying for M.Sc. in UBKV must have scored minimum 60% marks (50% for SC/ST/PWD candidates) in higher secondary examination.
• The minimum age of the candidates must not be less than 21 years as on December 31, 2016.
