Uttaranchal University is located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. It was established in 2002 and is one of the leading educational hubs of professional courses. The university is constituted with merger of three professional institutes of Sushila Devi Centre for Professional Studies and Research Society, namely Law College of Dehradun (LCD), Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT) and Uttaranchal Institute of Management (UIM).

Candidates can fill the online or offline application form in order to apply for the desired course. The steps to apply are mentioned below.

Online Application

  1. Go to the official website of Uttaranchal University
  2. Click on the “Apply Now” tab.
  3. Fill in your details in "New Students? Signup" section.
  4. Post filling, click on the "SIGN UP" button.
  5. A confirmation mail will be sent to you on your e-mail id along with your registration activation link.
  6. On clicking this link your online registration account will be activated.
  7. This activation will redirect you to the on-line registration page.
  8. Now login through "Registered Student? Login" section and continue with the registration process as per the instructions given in the form and on completion click the Submit button.
  9. After submitting, proceed to pay the registration fees of INR 1250/- via CCAvenue online secure payment gateway, Demand Draft, NEFT, RTGS, Direct deposit to dena bank.
  10.  A receipt shall be generated online once the payment is confirmed and the candidate will receive payment confirmation mail.
  11. With this, the online registration will be complete.
  12. At last, take a printout of the registration form for future reference.

NOTE - Application fees is INR 1200/-. A processing fee of Rs 50/- shall be charged from the students in case of payment through Debit card/Credit card and Internet Banking and the total sum to be submitted is Rs. 1250/-.

The admission process is very easy there are teacher who are there to guide us about the course and the university various scholarship such as girl child arm forces and of course according to our percentage in class12.

Remarks:

I applied directly from the college. The whole admission procedure is mentioned on the college website and we can get it done directly from the college also. Yes, reservation benefits are also present and fees are a little less for Uttarakhand students.

Remarks:

I don't want any improvements because the admission cell is doing its job perfectly, some counselors explain everything in a detailed and nice manner from fee structure to the subjects taught in class. They are very corporative and ease the process of admission they are always available for queries. They would help a student choose the right course as per his aptitude and they keep transparency.

Some of my friends attended Uttaranchal University. Their experience at the institute has been good.  According to my friends, the infrastructure of UU is quite good. The faculty members are well-qualified and supportive of the students. The environment on campus is great for studies. Although UU has strict rules and regulations regarding attendance.

Graphic Era is definitely a better option for B.Tech CS, compared to Uttranchal University. The faculties, lab facilities, and placement opportunities offered for CSE, at the university are better than any other college in Dehradun. The average CTC offered for CSE students during placements is around 5 LPA. More than 200 companies visit the campus placement. Uttaranchal University is an average university at best. However, infrastructure wise it is one of the best universities in Uttarakhand. The university has a huge green campus. It also has a huge library. However, if you want decent academics, it will be better to not opt for this university. The student crowd is average. There are also no placement opportunities available.

The law faculty of the institute is also quite decent. Uttaranchal University LLB fees are quite affordable. It will cost you around 2.98 lakhs for the 3 years long LLB course.
