This course is better in understanding Laws, rights, and all the fundamental aspects. The faculty-student ratio is 45:1100 i.e. there are 45 highly qualified faculty members and 1100 students from all the years. Their teaching method is very fair and interactive. The exams are held on every six months at the end of every semester.
Eligibility of the Ballb is a minimum of 70% in (10+2). The application fee is 1100 rs. which is available on the Amity.edu website Amity is no reservation policy for admission to the university. There needs to be an entrance test for admission.
Read Full ReviewFrom 8 semesters the student gets eligible for campus placement. The highest package offered is 20 LPA. There are nearly 25% of students get placed every year. My plan after getting my degree is to master's in foreign.
Students must have passed the 10+2 with 70% of marks. The application form is available on the university's official website Amity.edu, with an application fee of 1100. Dates will be notified through the website. There is currently no reservation scheme for Admission. No improvement is required in the admission process.
Read Full ReviewThe faculties are very well-qualified and knowledgeable and also very helpful towards the students. Various workshops and industrial visits are happening to provide practical exposure to the students which enhances to shape the career of the students.
Admission was done through merit base and interview through online mode and no written has been taken. Just a minimum of 50% is required for the 10th and 12th classes, and no entrance will be taken for the procedures of the admission.
Read Full ReviewMy college has a placement rate of 100%, The highest package offered here, in 2022, was 45 LPA and the average package was about 5.5 LPA so, it's upto the students and their academic results. Companies such as - Ford, Samsung heavy industries, Wipro, IBM, TCS, Accenture, etc. have also recruited students from here. INDIAN ARMY and INDIAN NAVY have also recruited students from here if the student wants to have a job in the INDIAN MILITARY.
For B.Tech CSE, students scoring above 60% in PCM are eligible for the Amity Entrance Exam, If the student had an average score of 88% or above they are eligible for Direct Entry in the college. The application for B.Tech CSE in Amity Lucknow is available on their official website for interested students.

Positive aspects:
- You must maintain 75% attendance by any means or else you won't be allowed to take exams. You will end up attending most of the classes and ultimately will be benefited.
- You will get amazing exposure at this University as numerous seminars, conferences are held frequently and a lot of guest lecturers visit the campus.
- Faculties are highly qualified but teaching skills few are average.
- You will get ample industrial exposure as you get to meet a lot of people from various industries during different interactive sessions.
- The curriculum is up-to-date and us framed according to the latest industrial requirements. You even have a choice to opt for your favorite subject in certain areas.
- Examinations are not too difficult and you can score well without having to mug up the whole book. Management studies are majorly based on case studies and it's quite easy to understand.
- Placement records are pretty good. Top companies like Colgate, Reliance Jio, Kent RO, ICICI, Vodafone visit the campus.
Negative aspects:
- Hands-on sessions and case studies are barely conducted in class.
- Fees are quite high compared to the ROI.
- One must be self-motivated and you won't get much external push. But if you approach faculties on your own, they will definitely help you out.
- Not much peer-to-peer learning could be seen.
- Internal assessments are very informal and marks are given randomly without any parameters.
If you are a strong-motivated individual who doesn't give in to peer pressure, Amity University is the perfect institute for you as the opportunities are countless. Certainly there are few negative aspects like obsolete systems which are common in most of the Universities.

- They are extremely strict about maintaining a 75% attendance, failing which you won't be allowed to sit for the exams.

The university tries to replicate international colleges like the infrastructure, facilities, Library, etc. But they could never reach their academic standards. So, it is suggested that you look for other options rather than take admission in Amity University Lucknow.
Amity Noida is better for CSE. It is the oldest campus and offers better facilities. The placement scenario for CSE is comparably better at Amity Noida. Major industry giants such as Microsoft, Accenture, IBM, L&T Infotech, etc. take part in the campus drive. Amity Noida placement highlights show the average package for CSE to be around INR 5 LPA. While the highest CTC offered goes up to INR 26 LPA.
Amity University Lucknow functions from an off campus of Noida Campus, every operation is controlled from there.
- They have a beautiful and well-maintained infrastructure.
- The class timings are longer than usual.
- They, unlike other universities, do not guarantee placement, most of the MBA graduates have applied for off-campus placements.
- The fests are not up to the mark like the Noida campus.
- Students should have a 75% attendance or you will not be allowed to sit for the exams.
- Hostels do not offer AC rooms.
- The mess charges have increased a lot, students have to pay INR 3000 per month. This is a lot because the quality of the food is also bad.
- The hostel provides wifi, which is a real necessity.
If you want to study in Amity it is suggested that you think before taking this step. If you think you can get a proper job offer off-campus then you can opt to study here. As they do not give much priority to on-campus placements.
According to the reviews online, Galgotias University will be a better option for pursuing a B.Tech in CSE.
- Amity Lucknow and Galgotia University both are also good but if we talk about the CSE department then Galgotias is better.
- Their faculty is good and highly experienced.
- 80% of the CSE students get recruited every year.
- They get placed in the popular multinational companies including Infosys, Wipro, TCS and Tech Mahindra.
- They also work for the Aptitude and language skills of the students and prepare them for the placements from the first semester.

The selection procedure at Amity University Lucknow is conducted in the following 3 ways:
- Through the Amity entrance test.
- Through fast track admission.
- Through JEE mains.
Here are some fact about them you should know:
- The minimum criteria for admission in the university is 60% in 12th standard.
- For admission through entrance test and fast track admission, you have to register yourself in the Amity admission microsite.
- If your 12th percentage is more than 88% you would be given admission directly without any entrance test and will even get a scholarship based on your marks.
- If your score is in between 88% to 93% you will get 50% scholarship.
- If your score exceeds 93% you will get a 100% scholarship for tuition fees. This way is called fast-track admission.
- If your score is below 88% you have to give the Amity JEE and then an interview will take place for the selected candidates.
- Based on your performance in the interview and written test you will be selected.
The final way to get admission is through JEE mains. You will alloted the Amity University through counseling according to your JEE Mains scores.

Amity University, Lucknow being a reputed university takes ragging very seriously. Every student has to submit an Affidavit at the beginning of the year.
There is no ragging in the campus but seniors tend to take your introductions, but no student is tormented in any manner.
The laws regarding ragging are very strict and contain harsh punishments. It could hamper your career, if found guilty.
Amity, Lucknow B.Com Hons is good. The course is well structured and also includes subjects such as foreign languages. The syllabus includes an NTCC project as well. Amity commerce department has qualified faculties with good teaching skills and years of experience in their fields. In terms of teaching, learning resources, and facilities offered, Amity is certainly a good option for pursuing B.Com.
It really will not matter as the faculties of B.Sc. IT and BCA are more or less the same. They are taught similar subjects.
The only difference is that in B.Sc. IT is majorly concerned with the research aspect of the computer, while BCA is concerned more with the application of computer science. But both are equally great courses with proper scope for the future.
