Aspirants seeking admission to 4 year Full-time B.Sc (Agriculture) should meet the following criteria as specified by the institute.

• Candidates seeking admission to the first semester of the four year B.Sc. (Ag) Degree Programme should have passed in the Higher Secondary Examination of 10+2 Curriculum (Academic Stream) prescribed by the Government of Tamil Nadu with Botany, Zoology, Physics and Chemistry / Biology, Physics and Chemistry or any stream of examination of any other University or authority accepted by the Board of Management of University as equivalent thereto.
• Canditates who passed Higher Secondary Course (HSC) under Vocational stream and studied, Biology and Agricultural Practices as vocational subject including theory and practical are eligible to apply for the degree B.Sc. (Agriculture).
• A student who has passed +2 with subject requirements as mentioned in the following table and undergone diploma agriculture is also eligible to get himself admitted in the first year of B.Sc. (Agriculture).
• The eligibility criteria such as marks, number of attempts and physical fitness and the mode of admission shall be as prescribed by the Board of Management of the University from time to time.
• Eligible Subjects of study in the Qualifying Examination
  Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  OR
  Physics, Chemistry, Biology with a fourth (elective) subject viz. Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry and Home Science
