Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, shortly referred to as MSU, was established in 1990 in Tirunelveli. It is a UGC recognized and NAAC accredited private university. The university offers MA., M.Sc., MCA, M.E., M.Ed., M.Tech., M.P.Ed., M. Com, and MBA courses at the PG level. M.Sc. (Integrated) programs are also available in the university. Additionally, there are library programs, PG Diploma and Diploma courses. This university also imparts education through distance learning.

Admissions to the Integrated M.Sc and M.Com courses, admissions are merit-based.
Admissions to M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.P.Ed, and M.Ed are based on the scores achieved in the University conducted examination.
Admission to the PG Diploma course, and the library programs, is also based on the University examination.
Admission to the Diploma course is merit-based.
Admissions to the AICTE approved courses such as M.E, M.Tech, MBA and MCA are entrance based, depending on scores in GATE and TANCET.
Admissions to all the Distance Education courses are merit-based only.

MSU Tirunelveli Integrated Degree Admissions 2023

The duration of these courses is 5 years. After completing the first 3 years the student shall be awarded UG Degree in the respective discipline provided he passes all the papers of the first three years. The Candidate can opt for multiple programs at the time of submission of application. The choice of program will be given on admission counseling. The date of admission counseling will be intimated later.

The course is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi.
The application process is the same as the integrated programs.

MSU Tirunelveli Distance Education Admission 2023

Admission to all the courses offered at the distance center of Manonmaniam Sundaranar University is merit-based. The students are required to present scores of the previous qualifying examination along with the admission fee and all the required documents.

The University will send call letters to all the provisionally selected candidates for UG Admission.

Visit the official website of the university or the application page.
Read all the instructions, log in, and fill up the admission form.
Print it out and send it to the university at “The Director, Directorate of Distance & Continuing Education, Manonmaniam Sundaranar University, Tirunelveli – 627012, Tamil Nadu”, along with the necessary documents.

Manonmaniam Sundaranar University (MSU) is average at best. Some of my friends attended the university, their experience at the university hasn’t been that good. One of my friends wanted to join the institute for their B.Sc course, but he was forced to pursue B.Tech in Information Technology. The faculty base is also not that great. The college actually recruits its M.Tech pass-out students. The management of the institute is also not good. Issue of certificates often gets delayed. So, before choosing the institute, you should consider your other option.
